Meet our founders
About Harmeet & Abdhesh
OpenWings was created from a deep commitment to care, shaped by personal and professional journeys in disability and community services.
Harmeet brought with him over five years of experience in children’s and disability service along with team leader experience, supported by qualifications in Disability and diploma in community Services. He is passionate about helping individuals grow and succeed in their daily lives with compassion, empathy and creating opportunities to thrive.
Abdhesh Gupta has brought years of experience in Youth Work, disability service along with child protection with qualifications of Bachelor in Human Services and Certificate III in Individual support. Driven by passion of making difference in the disability sector that provide quality of service and putting participant need first. Abdhesh carries a wealth of knowledge in cultural respect, advocacy, client-centre approach and personalised care.
Together, Harmeet and Abdhesh founded OpenWings to deliver a service that blends empathy, respect, and professional skill—ensuring every participant feels valued, supported, and empowered to spread their wings.
